My awesome message to *you*

Hello and welcome to this journal, you have chosen or been chosen to be here. I give to everyone a wish for love, happiness and fulfillment.

So wether you are here to stay, or passing though to parts unknown, welcome to this journal, its safer here ;D

"Keep your feet on the ground,
keep your head in the clouds
electrified by the sound
comes from the down. and
We've changed a lot and then some, some,
you know that we have always been down, down,
and if I ever didn't thank you, you,
then just let me do it now."

Why am I posting a bunch of random stuff?

  • Sep. 3rd, 2009 at 6:47 PM

I am a student of the life sciences, so I am busy, so to make a bunch of very elaborate writings would be  very time consuming.

But, I think, and  thoughts go around in my head, many I express with people I know, but other ones would be seen as strange, I have a interest in spiritual and paranormal stuff, I am a savant and monk of god : D well not many other people do not have much interest in that stuff being very secular people. So I got the idea to just put it all here, whatever purpose it serves, will be whatever.

Anyway, a thought of mine; being  an advocate of things ethical and righteous, I don’t like hunting of anything, and disapprove of methods of DNR agencies. A personal thing I follow is to reduce the amount of meat I eat, and when and if I do only eat that which has a more limited central nervous system. I like wolves and stuff, and to just be for them would be hypocritical so I figure I will hold ethical attitudes to all mammals wither I really like them as much or not, so I am less hypocritical.

Though, in trying not to be hypocritical, and to bring as much good in the world, I would advocate for many things which people might be unwilling to change. Though in doing so, might get a bunch of opposition, so a idea is that it is to promote ideas that  are within a persons capacity.

It may be seen as hypocritical to be against one questionable thing but not strongly advocating something else that is related to that to change. Though, it may be neccicary to be hypocritical and be selective because to some capacity a great many people are willing to change or improve on one thing, but another not. I think it is better to improve in some way and not at all, some good is better then none. If we human beings were more perfect in our actions and not so limited, then the need to be a hypocrite would not be needed. there are worse things then being a hypocrite. The stupidity of some people in not wanting to be hypocritical for one good has then condoning and participating in every bit of evil they can so as not to be perceived as biased.

So I guess in life it may be needed to be a hypocrite to do the most good.

I am sickened

  • Sep. 2nd, 2009 at 12:48 AM

I fell sickened when I heard this.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090901/ap_on_re_us/us_hunting_wolves

I guess, it means that I am emotionally connected to the animal in general, but I don't like these feelings. Its strange how it affects me so much. I wish that I could forget, this and much of the evil of people, but I know I can't; it is burned into my memory.

Some wonder why someone should do something so preposterous as be religious, to believe any of that nonsense.

But, I think that by believing it opens up the possibility that God may grab a star from the sky, and hurl it down upon the earth, scourging it of all sinners. Furthermore, I think it would be wrong not to have a hell for those most wicked, where else should they go? So I think is worth it to be religious, if only for the slightest possibility of it. But I am certain it is not a slight posability.

But, to better go through with my life  to stop this and many other evils, I must not let the sickness affect me, I must be strong.

So no one is surprised, or anything but I don't use this account too much (or any other account on livejournal for that matter, so its not like I am using some other name and puting the slip on anyone, to check these things a lot is like a job, and working sucks, and my phylosophy is don't do it unless you have to).

Anyway, some person who tried to add me as a friend seemed to have blown up or something before I could add them back (and another seems to be imploding), so yea.... stop doing that, if you can.

Of course I am studying : / but...

  • Nov. 24th, 2008 at 11:29 PM

Can take a 5 second break, anway though the hours of writing all sorts of stuff, looking though some manual and writing things down, I can't help but think I am trapped.

I am trapped to this book, and many scientific things, working tedious and complicated things, I yearn to do something else, I feel that something is out their I realy want to see, I want to do something else, but I can't. Some purpose at the end of the tunnel pushs me. I want to do something with this science, but to get their I have to neglect many things I want to do. Even what I am currently working with in science or have as a near goal to do with it, isn't even fully what I want to do, or study.

Just never seems to be enough time, I spend so much of it, from day to night in a never ending work; if olny I had a job where I could work at it, then go home and have nothing to do : D

I want to be free.

Do I hate Sarah Palin?

  • Nov. 20th, 2008 at 8:56 PM

I restrict myself to using this rarely, but if a big thought comes its conveint to just. to write it out. I usually will avoid politics, but I feel I will say something, because it has some importance, I am not ranting just for the sake of it; but to promote a positive change (winning arguments are great, but honestly, the best thing I could think of is to not at all have something like this which I disagree with at all existing, and just having it stop be fine).

A lot of people on my f-list are 'associated' with wolves, and as a animal I guess I consider them to be a favorite and liked animal of mine (they are something I think is just good for a ecosystem wither its just athestetic appearance or ecological balance).

Anyway, someone out their knows about the whole Alaska wolf management/cull thing going on, which if you look at history has been going on for a while for questionable reasons, cited as a reason that past harsh winters are a reason for it, but if that was the reason then harsh winters have been around for 30+ years? Which I guess means that its far north so of course the winters will be cold, considering rising temperatures the winters should be more mild.

The recent stuff started with another governor, and was pretty much handed down to and continued by the current governor, who was a presidential candidate (some political relevance). For this issue alone I hate them, the others are by comparison illrelevent. Might wonder why is this my business, why you think that’s important?

1. I am an American, what goes on in my country is my business, and this is a democracy (if I were to disagree with something with China it would be somewhat out of my jurisdiction to change policies because I am not a citizen of the country, and it is not a democracy)

2. Wildlife is a national treasure that’s wealth that cannot be measured, and suppases any idols and monuments constructed by man.

3. I don't agree with the person in general, but the other stuff by comparison in the election and outside of it is relatively insignificant, some slander and usual politics, bridges to nowhere and junk; words and money in my mind are relatively insignificant to life which is not ours to take or judge

4. Wolves are not a endangered species on the whole of the planet, and are not as threatened as others, it would still be good to respect them and not only care for them or other species of animals until they are imperiled! For more imperiled species around the world, I fail to see how disregarding the lives of wild natural predators such as wolves here will help any endangered species in America or outside. The whole disregarding of lives of animals and general ignorance is a lot of what is at the root of the many problems of many species. If we don't care for the ones here, then can we expect people from abroad to behave any differently? And for Alaska the conservation for the animal is simple, no reintroduction or anything just keep what they got and don’t cull them and they do fine, don't need to be feed by nobody and can do it themselves; it cost no money, but to do weird culls do cost money to have.

So that pretty much it, for that I hate the person for that reason, not much else reason to hate another for unless it important and killing is one of them. The person is quite ignorant of a lot of science and biology not just about wolves, but a point could be made that a ignorance of things so simple like predator prey relationships and the importance of natural predators, ecological history and climate change, concepts that can be taught in elementary school, and brushed up on in high school. Even the littlest bits of science, while easy to know, lacking knowledge on some of the most basic things can lead to some pretty bad consequences. Nothing good can come from ignorance.

And other point, while some might think "well good she lost" "I hope she gets a wart" or "fuck you Palin", I guess for the reasons of wildlife conservation and other issues, good not having that person and ideas in charge, still what I don't like is still going on. I could say a f-you to the person, but why? Is hating for the sake of it going to really make things better?

As much as I hate the person, I think it would be better that instead they change and things become better for everyone. That they change on this one weird and important issue. A example and idea is that I myself have secretly tried to sway the person persuasively and positively (no 'f-u's in my letter).

Hating for the sake of it gets nowhere and only promotes more conflict, and personally (I am not a perfect person and can get roused by passions/biases), my standard is that I will not hate someone unless they kill what I cherish deliberately. Which I think is a good standard, the importance of life and nature outsides all else.

Things geting better

  • Nov. 1st, 2008 at 4:50 PM

I just tought about this, so I put my thoughts out here. That way I have everything here and don't have to remember it, if for example my head explodes or am in vegitative state, it can still be here byond the limits of a functioning physical body ; D

So things geting better

This has been a trend thats hundreds of years old! People complain about the present things geting worse, and if you know anything about conditions which people have subjucated themselves and others to in the past, you will realize that is a load of crap things geting better over all, and here is an example.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081101/ap_on_re_us/green_prisons

Story is that prisoners are doing work with composting waste and growing organic stuff, so it reduces cost eco friendlyer and all that (and they working, which is punishment that is constructive : D ).

So even prisoners are chiping in the green trend : D So even if somebody commits a crime they can latter become a productive member of society even when in incarceration (longer sentance the longer they have to do it).

Yes I do know things sometimes get worse (up and down fluctuating in some stuff), but over all things improve in time, of course that is not to say that we should not complain or be entirely content with anything; (after all that desiring of something improving often does lead to things geting better). Things are still not perfect in a lot of respects but things could definatly be worse!

In a particular example would be in america, from 1500's Africans in america were kept as slaves, no property, no rights no vote; then second class citiziens, less rights, no vote, lower property; then today can vote, same rights (by law), and more property (lower then avg but better then past era). Things not perfect but they get better, and I just summerize 500 years of history to a ethic group in a country in one small paragraph! Yea I know I could elaborate but my time is not infinate nor is yours to read, so I should make my points quicker!

A little thought of mine

  • Oct. 22nd, 2008 at 8:59 PM

Instead of thinking of the self, think of others. When you put the concerns and problems of others before your own, the problems you face become insignificant and you are better able to bypass them.

Thinking of the other instead of the self, allows you to transcend and become something more. Kind of like Bruce Wane in Batman, he doesn’t think about his own problems or safety, but focuses everything on a selfless ideal, a superhero, Batman.

Dan Akroyd who has what could be said interesting beliefs made this interesting clip about the story of crystal skulls,... and eventually sells vodka. Being that a number of celebrities are atheists and skeptics makes sense you have a few that are into psychic stuff of "all this crazy shitzzite is totally real", you know to balance things out and have diversity.

http://crystalheadvodka.com/

I am all for sprit, magic, physic stuff. Though I still disagree with this guy with some of what he is saying and doing; which reflects just not what he says and does but a lot of nonsense that goes on and is spoken in the world.

Click the link, and you go for the trip mon. )

And yea I do talk a lot, to illustrate a point. Another point about the Vodka which I am forgetting about is that it seems kind of stilly to be promoting that junk as spiritually awakening. I have tasted hard drinks (rarely drink and avoid it), and they taste even worse then less alcoholic beverages; booze promoters your full of crap, your booze is not 'more pure' it is wholly a more impure substance that make people even fatter and stupider and I don't think we need anymore of that! If you want spiritual beverage drink tea! It makes you wiser and not dumber (example myself). Though the bottle is still interesting, might be interesting container for beverages (alcoholic or not).

Just saying that unless you realy need blow up your journal then um... don't, just saying is all. If realy pressed for time or whatever just sort of abandon it, or do quick responses to everything, if anyone askeds a question or statement and you don't have time to read it just say "yes, that sounds cool". In fact in a hypothetical future where I or someone else has to deal with high volume ammount of people saying and requesting stuff, my idea is to have a program/bot that responds to every person what they say with a "yes, that sounds cool" mabey put 10 randomized responses, then if all sorts of persons want me to seemingly personaly aknowlage their existance and compliment them it would seem like I would be, but I wouldnt have to lift a finger : D

Back on topic if a user spontaniously combusts and they were on my F-list then if anybody looks at it in the future then they will see some user with the line through their name; and they will all wonder "why does someone on your friends list have a line though their name", then I might have to make some aquard explanation, then they might wonder "how can I get a line through my name?" or "can I have a friend with a line through their name too?".

So, lol dont distroy your journal unless you have to.

I found this out, twice, mugwart is this herb that is kind of dry has a consisity like a mixture of ground up small twigs and sawdust. Put it in a candel and with the melted wax it kind of burned then molded in, every day or so when using the candle the pile grew biger and then sometimes the mixture catches fire. When it catches fire it works like another wick, but larger, creating a bigger burning flame that grows huge (fire hazard) and due to its irregular placement in the candle it melted a portion the wax wall causing wax to flow out like a small stream, before luckily it made a wooosshhhhh and a ssssssssssskkks sound so I could stop it before the candle and its holder was wrecked too much. So after the first time I put a plate below it so any wax wouldn't get on the table and also so it was relatively safe from fire.

So yea don’t put it or anything else that is flammable and can act as a wick in a candle.

Realy tired

  • Aug. 18th, 2008 at 5:27 PM

Its probably cliche to complain about things, but I realy am, because I went though a full day sunday (well waking at 8 am or so, actualy 'working' after eating and showering at 10 am), and sunday night working on projects, up untill 5 am, rested in a sort of metitiative state while the CPU was working on something (to try maximizing the one hour of time I got to rest because I hear mediation or astralprojection is beter, hoped that the one hour or so I would spend would give me the rest of 8, and prayed to the great spirit/god/creatior that I had enough to go though the next day though compleation) then at 6 am got ready for the next day. And in the day throughafter at school 8-3 I have been making finishing touches on some of the projects then presenting them to teachers and stuff. Serprisingly I didnt feel like shuting my eyes ever, but my body did and does still goan whenever I move it.

Of course this is thankfully not normal but a trial I had to compeate and may not face another till finals come again : P Its amazing the limits one can push themselves to, but... I never want to do that again if I can help it.

A good song

  • Aug. 10th, 2008 at 2:39 PM

I could say something else, but na I wont. I had this song in my head I knew how it went but I couldnt remember the name so I spent a good while trying to find it and then found it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQKwOGWS7gI&feature=related

Arabic dance from the nutcracker, I knew it was from the nutcracker (and played around chrismas time) but I didnt know which one. I think its beter then the rest of the songs from the nutrcracker and why its not on the top 100 clasical songs I do not know (and why anyone would put music from starwars on such a list is byond my comprehension).

The meaning of life

  • Jun. 2nd, 2008 at 10:03 PM

What is the meaning of life? I pondered this question years ago and arrived at a universal answer, the meaning of life is what you make it to be, whatever you chose is the meaning of life.

To explain, everyone has physical and non-physical desires, sure someone might say the meaning of life is to make money but, why? Money can only get so far and you still are bound by human limitations, and people may be able to have much greater potential in other attributes without money, consider a hypothetical monk who has forsaken all material possessions they may have great spiritual experiences being that they dedicate a good amount of their life to total focus on it, someone who is more rich would be busy acquiring more material wealth which cannot make all dreams come true. But wealth can be a asset for anything, after all if you have good economic security and are satisfied then you can do many other things you want to do carefree (which may be within your meaning of life).

Maybe living long could be considered a goal in life But it could be argued that trying to live long is stupid, if you die early you could potentially spend your entire life as a child and then young adult then never have to go through with the sagging and wrinkling (and balding) middle and older ages. and with reincarnation or afterlife you could experience a better life then this, so do you really want to be stuck here forever and not see a world full of all of your hearts desires, (of course a life after this one could be worse but hey that’s why you shouldn’t do bad things and let your spirit drop to lower levels).

Would another goal in life be physical strength or abilities? Some may value this after all it can be used to get quite a bit of money in sports or another job, physical ability helps appearance and is linked to overall health (so if you want to live long care for the body). But again what’s the point, if someone wants that then they may get it but even with a opportunity to do it a person might not want to do it. And physical attributes are often very fleeting and diminish over time is pretty universal, people can be playing a good game of tennis and golf all the way to 60 and 70 but still the body is nothing like it was in the 20-30’s. As most of us are aware professional athletes retire very early because they do things that are very physically demanding of perfection, and after a certain peak things can only go downhill.

Probably I myself would argue most that a spiritual purpose and abilities are the most important thing in life, but could it not be argued that doing anything in this world would be part of a spiritual journey, doing a job is service to others (even though it may be very humble and crappy), taking care of your body would affect your mind which is part of your consciousness (sickness tends to bring one down), of course this is some of my more radical ideology which I share with plagiarized or have appropriated from others, that the spiritual world and physical world are pretty inseperatable, all is linked though maybe not immediately obvious, something in another dimension or consciousness/spirit level while seeming impossibly far away is infinatly close it is inside you, right under your nose, and everywhere. Your spirit, I am spirit, everyone is spirit, so right now the spirit is talking to you through me, and in turn if I listen to what you say you are giving me a spiritual insight because you are a soul or spirit too, and must be some greater reason to everything happening so it is destined that I am to listen to you.

What exactly is a spiritual purpose? Its intangible and hypothetical, someone could claim that God gave them a mission to make as much money from gold, diamonds, and oil in Africa, and who is able to provide tangible evidence that is not true, could a skeptic of any of this bunk take the word of some other mystic that the mission for material wealth was not from god but some inner ego or bad spirit; and maybe someone’s purpose in life or path in 'all that is' is to follow one that is incredibly materialistic and amoral to test others and give good example of what not to do again all part of the ‘great plan’. And whatever you doing on the internet right now be it maybe looking at a lewid picture or playing a video game, or talking with friends is all part of your path in the great plan, who is to say its not?

Ok I am going on a tangent, wrapping it up, someone might value knowledge, or maybe sightseeing. But of all the meanings I have mentioned and not mentioned, span all of our desires which many of us have many desires in life, some different some the same. The person who desires money most will seek that, someone who wants to see sights will do that, who is to say what is more important because the values of people are diverse. If someone wants something then they should strive to get it, if someone wants to do something they don’t want then that is what they want. Who is to say what you want, I don’t know and no one else does unless they really know you, though I can guess, that many people want to live forever have perfect bodies and wealth so vast that they could purchase dozens of castles, islands, and islands with castles on them, also have lots of magical powers like flying levitating, having the power to transform into all sorts of animals and creatures because it would be neat to try them all (and then change into something else when you are board each one). To know everything, be everyone’s friend, to live in a happy world where you are the holy emperor of a perfect earth. Did I miss anything? Everyone probably wants a lot of everything; though spend their lives in different ways. And somehow that goes back to my idea of the meaning of life is whatever you make it to be, whatever you want.
